Dr. Shashi Bhusan Mishra is the Head (officiating) of the Department of Economics. He is also serving as an assistant professor of this department since September 2017. 

His broad area of research includes Developement Economics,  Economics of Social Sector ( Health and Education) and Public policy.

Motivated Undergraduate/PostGraduate students with good Econometrics/Statistical acumen and willingness to explore Dr. Mishra's area of academic specialisation may contact for summer/research internship.
