BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

Research over the last 30-40 years have lead to unprecedented advancements in various disciplines ranging from cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, developmental and computational biology. Subsequently, adoption of an interdisciplinary approach has become the need of the hour to understand the complexities of a biological system. Since its inception in the year 2015, the department’s mission has been to help students gain an in-depth exposure to emerging domains in lifesciences and prepare them to be leaders in the field of research and development (R&D) in academia and industry alike.
