The department of Biological Sciences came into existence in 2015 and first batch of students joined in 2016. The department offers a 5 year Integrated BSc MSc Program with three specilaizations; Botany, Zoology and Microbiology. The students herein would be exposed to fundamentals of basic and applied biology along with recent advancements. A lot of emphasis has been given to hands on training in techniques through practicals, industrial training, visits and project work. The course structure has been designed keeping in mind the modern aspects of biology to prepare the students to excel in academics, research and industry.
