The Department of Education, Aliah University was established in 2014 and started its journey from 21, Haji Md Mohsin Square, Kolkata-700016. At present two year B.Ed. programme (NCTE recognised) is being offered with an intake capacity of 100 for each year. The aim of this programme is to provide opportunities for trainee students to extend as well as deepen their knowledge and understanding of education in any one of the area of specializations in pedagogical subjects such as Language Education (Arabic, Theology, Bengali, English, Urdu, & Persian), Mathematics Education, Science Education and Social Science Education. The Department has well qualified faculty members and good infrastructural facilities.
